Today I went and met Jenna and Scott at Macado's to have lunch with them and talk to them about their upcoming nuptials. They are both friends of mine (given, I met Jenna first) and I am so glad they're getting married. I met Jenna's other bridesmaid, Brittni (ANOTHER ONE!) so Jenna said that they would just call me by my last name since that's what everybody else does. I'm going with Jenna tomorrow (along with Scott's mom and grandmother) to help Jenna find a wedding dress in Charleston, since the wedding dress she had bought burned down with the consignment shop last week. :(
We went to Deb's and found Brittni a bridesmaid's dress. I already have one (Jenna is letting everyone just wear a black dress of their liking, which I think is really cool).
The guy downstairs is cooking steak and the smell is permeating through the floor... Holy crap *drools*.
Anyways, Brittni and I were brainstorming on what to do for Jenna's bachelorette party, because her little sister can't help plan it (maid of honor) because she has too many things to study for in order to pass her licensing boards. She gave us permission to plan whatever, and she would work with it. I had originally just thought about taking a road trip to Ohio or North Carolina to a burlesque club (they don't have them around here) and that was a good idea... But then I got an even better idea...
I am going to New York City in April because my derby wife goes to Concord and said that every year they take a bunch of people on a bus to NYC for 1 day. Like, you leave at 11 pm the night before, get there are 6 or 7 am the next day, and they pick you back up at midnight. So I texted Panda to see if there were extra spots on the bus, and that way, Jenna, me, Brittni, Jay, Jerica and Panda could all go to NYC together, and take Jenna to a burlesque club in the greatest city on earth! I'm really hoping there are open spots. If there aren't, finding another burlesque club and road tripping is still in the cards.
Anyway, I'm laid up sick right now, so I guess I'll drag my ass in the kitchen and try to make something delicious.
