I'm going to meet the people about the cost accounting job on Tuesday, which sounds promising!  LOL.  They said they would make a decision on Thursday as to who they wanted to move forward with and only call that candidate back.  Them wanting to meet me makes it sound like I'm the one they want!  Also, the recruiter forwarded me the email from the HR coordinator and she stated twice that they were "VERY interested" in me.

Oh, and Dad won $10,000 in a sweepstakes....and it's legit!  Trust me, I've checked it out very thoroughly!  It was sponsored by a major company and Dad has been speaking with a Marketing Director for the company (Googled her and it's completely legit)....Anyway, they should be mailing him a check in 4-5 weeks.  I know taxes on it will suck (and I REALLY hope they consult a tax professional to figure out how much to save to pay taxes), but he'll still end up with more money than they had before!  The timing is kinda bad, because he'll probably get the check while he's in FL having surgery, but it's also good because they definitely need the money right now!  I'm so happy for them!
